GeoGenix’s Solar Installation Unveiled at PSE&G Energy & Environmental Resource Center

Salem, New Jersey – January 26, 2010 – GeoGenix, an industry leader in commercial and residential solar installations, had its solar installation unveiled Monday at the new PSE&G Energy & Environmental Resource Center.

This state-of-the-art facility is designed to educate visitors about providing clean, reliable energy in the future. PSE&G selected GeoGenix to install a 75-kilowatt photovoltaic solar array on the roof of the building. “We were pleased to be selected by PSE&G to install this system in such an important facility that will serve as an educational resource for our state. We are proud that our installation is a part of the energy story that PSE&G is communicating,” said Jim Carbone, COO of GeoGenix.

While touring the exhibit space, visitors can view a display showing real-time power output from this solar array. During the 30 year life of the system, it is estimated that 3.6 million pounds of carbon dioxide, nitrous oxides, and sulfate emissions will be avoided. These environmental benefits are equivalent to planting over 400 acres of trees.
